Details: Patterns for Wams (undergarment) and Schaube (overgarments) in fashion from 1500-1530. Both garments were worn by bourgeoisie and gentry, and indicating a high social position. The Wams is a not too loose fitting garment, always worn with a shirt (not included). It is front closing with either hooks and eyes or lacing. It can be worn underneath the Schaube, a kind of cloak with long sleeves featuring arm slits in the upper portion.
